The blank behaviour of model in this range has been analysed and modified, with the aim of creating superbly accurate, light and powerful rods which are not merely effective casting tools, but also have that essentially correct feel, which makes them a pleasure to use.
The end result has produced a new Sharpe’s of Aberdeen Gordon 2 fly rods which are set to take the fishing world by storm, retaining the award winning performance and casting characteristics of the original Gordon series, but in an even better sleeker rod.
The well proven multi-modulus materials used in the construction of these rods, combined with Sharpes stringent quality control processes, provides the confidence that the end result is a product which ensures long lasting ownership satisfaction. The bronze lacquered blanks are enhanced by the fitting of the best available hard chrome American pattern snake guides, Aluminium Oxide stripper rings, precision machined reel seats and highest grade cork grips.
All rods are supplied a cloth sleeve with a Cordura covered tube incorporating a shoulder sling.
